Lake Norman Tennis AssociationAcetoberfest Tournament Benefits LNTA College Scholarships
LNTA hosted its 9th annual Acetoberfest tournament on Saturday, Oct 27th at Prosperity Athletic Club. This event raised money for (2) $1,000 LNTA Serves College Scholarships awarded each year to tennis-playing high school seniors. The 56 players enjoyed competition in 7 divisions, and the day culminated with a raffle drawing of more than 33 different prize packages, including lessons, merchandise, & gift cards. Adaptive and Wheelchair Tennis League Begins
The new Adaptive and Wheelchair Tennis league got off to a terrific start on Friday, Sept 6th at North Meck Park! This is a competitive, weekly league for intermediate-level Adaptive and Wheelchair tennis players. Thank you to Huntersville Parks & Rec and Omega Sports for their support in creating this league. On Saturday, Aug 24th, LNTA hosted a Player Social at Lake Norman Tennis Center. Players enjoyed tennis, snacks, give-aways, and learned more about volunteer opportunities and LNTA programs. A good time was had by all!
